Members of the Space System Laboratory participated in the second major campaign of the VOLANDO Project. The project aims to study the composition of volcanic clouds with tethered and free-launched sounding balloons. During the campaign, we were lucky enough to catch the eruption of the 2nd of June, flying a balloon inside the volcanic plume.
